The Prince George Spruce Kings would like to congratulate Eva and Jerry Rees of Houston, British Columbia. Eva and Jerry became the latest winner in the 28th Annual Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery when ticket number 3992 was drawn on Sunday night for the early bird prize of a $3200 gift card from the RONA store in Prince George.

While in Prince George, doing some Christmas shopping at the Pine Centre Mall, the couple also stopped by the Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery kiosk and purchased the ticket. The ticket has been sitting in the draw barrel since the beginning of December and on Sunday night was one of the 6903 tickets in the running for the seventh early bird draw. The winning ticket will now go back into the barrel where it becomes eligible for the remaining three early bird prizes and the grand prize of the $376,000 custom built Show Home located at 2638 Links Drive in the Aberdeen Glen Subdivision to be drawn on Sunday February 14, 2010.

“This is one of the prizes that people have been waiting for,” said Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery manager, Jim Young. “There is a lot of excitement and it is growing every day as we near the end of the Show Home Lottery. This weekend alone almost 200 tickets were purchased and that leaves less than 600 now.”

“I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to get a ticket,” continued Young. “There are some great vacation prizes coming next and, knowing how few tickets are left, I’m afraid that people will miss out on their chance to win one of the four remaining prizes.”

The next early bird prize draw will be this Sunday January 24, 2010 for a Las Vegas Get-Away valued at $2,723. A Mexican Riveria Cruise for two valued at $4,696 will be drawn on January 31st and the final Early Bird prize is a Disney Family Vacation valued at $5,793 to be drawn on February 7th.
